Aspect ratio is given by the formula:
- Mean Chord / Span.
- Span^2 / Area.
- Span^2 / Mean Chord.
not too clear about the answer

pls solve it for me
In a an DC motor, the rotation of the MNA
- is opposite to the rotation of the armature.
- is slightly less speed than the rotation of the armature.
- is the same as the rotation of the armature.
Wouldn't the rotation of MNA be in the same direction as rotation of armature?
The secondary coil of a transformer has 1500 turns and 10Ohm resistance. The primary coil has 1kOhm resistance. How many turns does the primary coil have?
- 15,000.
- 1,500,000.
- 150,000
How does the answer comes to 15000?
The specific torque loading for a bolt is 50 lbs.ins but an extension of 2 is needed to reach the bolt in addition to the 8 torque wrench. What will the actual reading?
- 40 lb.ins.
- 54 lb.ins.
- 60 lb.ins.
how??
How many things can be stored in the short term memory?
- 0 - 5.
- 5 - 9.
- 10-15.

ACARS is an acronym for
- Airframe Communicating Addressing and Reporting System.
- Airborne Communicating Addressing and Reporting System.
- Aircraft Communicating Addressing and Reporting System.
i think its arinc instead of aircraft
On a swept wing aircraft if both wing tip sections lose lift simultaneously the aircraft will
- yaw uncontrollably.
- pitch nose up.
- pitch nose down.
loss of lift = nose drop, how come in this case it's not so?
thx
What is the area of a ring with an outer diameter of 90 inches and an inner diameter of 80 inches?
- 325 * pi
- 425 * pi
- 435 * pi
how to solve it
A 3 1/2 bit multimeter will indicate readings up-to

im not quite understand why..please help me and explain..
If an accumulator loses air pressure there will be
- rapid fluctuations of instruments.
- rapid depressurisation of system.
- pump cavitation.
Accumulators in instruments?? pfcu's maybe?
Buckling in a semi-monocoque structure is prevented by
- bulkheads.
- stringers.
- longerons.
Are all 3 not correct?
Before checking the SG of a battery recently removed from an aircraft
- take the temperature of the electrolyte.
- carry out a capacity test.
- allow to stabilise for one hour.
I have had this question elsewhere and the answer was to let it stand for an hour!?
Which of the following are generally characteristic of aramid fibre (Kevlar) composites?
- High tensile strength and flexibility.
- Flexibility, stiffness and corrosive effect in contact with aluminium.
- High tensile strength, stiffness and ability to insulate electricity.
are u sure it is stiff and conducts electricity also.plz help.

- -400 Lbs.
- -200 Lbs.
- -640 Lbs.
Plz solve this
A potentiometer varies
- resistance.
- current.
- voltage.
potentiometer varies resistance, your answer is voltage
Diodes connected in parallel would act like an
- an NAND gate.
- an AND gate.
- an OR gate.
How pls describe
On a pre-preg composite
- life can be extended by 12 months if stored above 40 degreesC
- life can be extended by 12 months if stored below 10 degreesC
- no life extension is allowed, it must be used immediately.
Any body out there??
Answer regarding storage above 40 degree Celsius seems absurd, i don't have in depth knowledge about the subject but i searched on the web concerning this question. Below are two web links which helped me get convinced that to extend the life of pre preg composite it needs to be stored in low temperature.

Which wing increases drag when the ailerons are moved?
- Both wings increase drag but the wing with the up-going aileron has more.
- Both wings experience an equal increase in drag.
- Both wings increase drag but the wing with the down-going aileron increases more.
i think the down going wing(i.e.up going aileron) instead of down going aileron (i.e.up going wing) increases more drag
If part of a display is lost on a CRT, this could be due to
- an inoperative symbol generator or control panel.
- an inoperative symbol generator or input sensor.
- an inoperative EFIS control panel or data bus.
inoperative input sensor would give flag but it can be considered as some sort of display but not missing as such and if the display has missing part, may be it's not selected in control pannel.correct me if i'm wrong.
Two connected fibre optic cable ends are parallel but not quite touching. This is called
- end to end coupling.
- butt joint coupling.
- lateral gap coupling.
answer has to be end fire coupling
An aspect ratio of 8 would mean
- span 64, mean chord 8.
- mean chord 64 , span 8.
- span squared 64 ,chord 8.
ar=s/c,ar=8,s/c=8,s=8c,s64=8c?
Galvanic corrosion is most likely to be most rapid and severe when
- the surface area of the anodic metal is smaller than the surface area of the cathodic material.
- the surface area of the cathodic metal and the anodic material are approximately the same.
- the surface area of the cathodic metal is smaller than the surface area of the anodic material.
isn't the corrosion more rapid when the anodic metal is smaller in compare to cathdic metal
