  • Airborne Communicating Addressing and Reporting System.
  • Aircraft Communicating Addressing and Reporting System.
zholl asking:

i think its arinc instead of aircraft

Module 8. Basic aerodynamics

On a swept wing aircraft if both wing tip sections lose lift simultaneously the aircraft will

  • yaw uncontrollably.
  • pitch nose up.
  • pitch nose down.
tijaku asking:

loss of lift = nose drop, how come in this case it's not so?
thx

Module 1. Mathematics

Module 11. Aeroplane aerodynamics, structures and systems

Before checking the SG of a battery recently removed from an aircraft

  • take the temperature of the electrolyte.
  • carry out a capacity test.
  • allow to stabilise for one hour.
paulhb1972 asking:

I have had this question elsewhere and the answer was to let it stand for an hour!?

Module 6. Materials & hardware

Which of the following are generally characteristic of aramid fibre (Kevlar) composites?

  • High tensile strength and flexibility.
  • Flexibility, stiffness and corrosive effect in contact with aluminium.
  • High tensile strength, stiffness and ability to insulate electricity.
manin asking:

are u sure it is stiff and conducts electricity also.plz help.

Module 6. Materials & hardware

On a pre-preg composite

  • life can be extended by 12 months if stored above 40 degreesC
  • life can be extended by 12 months if stored below 10 degreesC
  • no life extension is allowed, it must be used immediately.
MridulDev asking:

Any body out there??
Answer regarding storage above 40 degree Celsius seems absurd, i don't have in depth knowledge about the subject but i searched on the web concerning this question. Below are two web links which helped me get convinced that to extend the life of pre preg composite it needs to be stored in low temperature.

Module 8. Basic aerodynamics

Which wing increases drag when the ailerons are moved?

  • Both wings increase drag but the wing with the up-going aileron has more.
  • Both wings experience an equal increase in drag.
  • Both wings increase drag but the wing with the down-going aileron increases more.
manin asking:

i think the down going wing(i.e.up going aileron) instead of down going aileron (i.e.up going wing) increases more drag

If part of a display is lost on a CRT, this could be due to

  • an inoperative symbol generator or control panel.
  • an inoperative symbol generator or input sensor.
  • an inoperative EFIS control panel or data bus.
manin asking:

inoperative input sensor would give flag but it can be considered as some sort of display but not missing as such and if the display has missing part, may be it's not selected in control pannel.correct me if i'm wrong.
