there is no explanation as to why c is the correct answer.

I don't understand why in answer A. and in the explanation it states that there will be a "roll to the advancing blade side". If the retreating blade stalls, the effect should be felt 90deg later which is the rear of the helicopter, thus the pitch up. If there is any roll I would assume it will be to the left side since the right side (advancing blade) has not stalled.

The question is "RELATIVE AIRFLOW" over a helicopter blade. Therefore the "REALTIVE AIRFLOW" is the same along the entire span of the blade, but because of the blade twist the difference is angle of attack which is less at the tip and greater at the root. To me the answer should be A. is unaffected by blade position

I agree answer "A. a reduction in RPM" is correct, but answer "C. blades to cone up" is also acceptable?

on “The data gives a turning torque for the bearings alone, read before the lip seal is fitted. Preload is instead adjusted with the seal in place until that figure is reached. What preload results?”

Shouldn't "C. ascend, unless the pilot decreases rotor RPM" be the correct answer? This is because due to torque, the fuselage tends to yaw right. Applying right pedal means you wish to yaw right, by decreasing the anti torque required (reducing thrust by tail rotor), so less power is needed by the tail rotor, more power available to the main rotor, helicopter ascends
on “A helicopter is hovering and the pilot applies right pedal. Assuming the main rotor rotates anti clockwise viewed from above, the helicopter will”

Verbally I did ask a friends who work with large airliners, FMC database can only be activated on the ground. Need to verify if FMC database activation in flight is a helicopter thing or is the answer not accurate?
on “How is the next database on the FMC activated?”

I've been going through some of the sample questions from this website & also from other sources, and I find that there are some questions in Module 12 that is not "related" to helicopters. Do these questions pop up in the actual Module 12 exam? And if they do, can we "contest" it as not related to the module? Example of questions (I stand corrected if some of them are actually related to helicopters): 1. Cargo containment class A, B, C... 2. ILS system
on “Module 12 - questions not related to helicopters?”
