EASA Part-66 Mock Exams
Sit a timed mock exam for any module and licence category. Each paper has the official number of questions and time limit from Appendix II of Part-66, a live countdown, and a result against the 75% pass mark.
- 77 mock exams across all 18 EASA modules, one for each licence category that sits the module
- 75 seconds a question, as in the exam: Module 11 for B1.1 is 140 questions in 175 minutes
- Only your category’s topics: a B2 paper leaves out what B2 is not examined on
- Pass or below the pass mark, with how many more correct answers you needed
Mock exams come with a subscription, from €3.75 a month. The readiness check is free, with no account.
How a mock exam works
The same four steps for every module and every licence category.
- 1
Pick the module and your category
Each module has a paper for every licence category that sits it. The number of questions and the time limit are set for you.
- 2
Answer against the clock
The countdown starts from the official time limit. Each answer is marked as you give it, with its explanation, so a mock exam teaches as it tests.
- 3
Get your result
Pass, or below the pass mark, with how many more correct answers you needed. When the time runs out the exam ends and unreached questions count as wrong.
- 4
Review and sit it again
Every question is listed with your answer and the correct one. Your mistakes go to Weak Areas, and each attempt is a new draw of questions.
Every mock exam, by module and licence category
Questions and minutes for each paper, as Appendix II of Part-66 sets them (Regulation (EU) 2023/989, as amended by (EU) 2025/111).
B2L sits Module 13 by system rating, 20 to 52 questions each; this mock exam is one paper across the B2L topics.
The mock exam is the multiple-choice paper. Module 7 also has two essays: practise them in Essay Practice, against the 20-minute clock. The UK paper for Module 10 has an essay too.
Questions about the mock exams
How close is a mock exam to the real Part-66 exam?
The format is the exam’s: the number of questions and the time limit for your licence category from Appendix II of Part-66, which works out at 75 seconds a question, three options per question and the 75% pass mark. Each attempt draws a new set of questions from the module’s bank, leaving out topics your category is not examined on.
The questions are our own, written to the syllabus: real examination papers are confidential. One thing differs from the exam room: each answer is marked as you give it, with its explanation, so you learn from a mistake while the question is in front of you.
How many questions are there, and how long do I get?
As many as the exam for your licence category, in the same time: from 16 questions in 20 minutes (Module 1 for A) to 188 questions in 235 minutes (Module 13 for B2). The one exception is B2L Module 13, which the exam splits by system rating. The list above gives every paper.
What happens when the time runs out?
The exam ends. Any question you did not reach counts as wrong, and the result says you ran out of time, so a mock exam also tells you whether your pace is right.
Can I review my answers afterwards?
Yes. The results page lists every question with your answer and the correct one. The questions you got wrong go to Weak Areas and come back until you answer them right, and the Intelligent Progress Center counts the score towards that module’s readiness.
Is there a free mock exam?
Mock exams come with a subscription, from €3.75 a month on the yearly plan. Free, with no account: the 20-question readiness check for your licence category, marked against the 75% pass mark, and a 10-question sample quiz.
Can I sit a mock exam in another language?
Yes. Every question, its options and its explanation can be read in any of 13 languages besides English, with the English original one click away, so you can check yourself against the wording of the exam, which is sat in English.
Are there UK CAA mock exams?
UK CAA Module 10 has mock exams of its own, written to UK law: A and B3: 32 questions in 40 minutes; B1, B2 and B2L: 40 questions in 50 minutes. The UK paper also has an essay; the mock exam is its multiple-choice part. The other modules’ mock exams are EASA papers. The UK still examines to its 2020 syllabus text, so paper lengths differ in places: UK Module 9 for B1, for example, is 20 questions and an essay.
