Questions
Which Part-66 modules still have essay questions?
For the EASA examination, Module 7 only. Regulation (EU) 2023/989 removed the Module 9 and Module 10 essays on 12 June 2024. The UK CAA still examines Modules 7, 9 and 10 by essay, so Essay Practice covers all three.
How is a Part-66 essay marked?
Against the Key Points for that question. You pass by covering 75% of them with no significant error. The mark also takes style into account, weighted 60 content to 40 style, which is the Appendix II standard.
How long do I get for one essay?
Twenty minutes, the same allowance as the real paper. Exam mode runs that countdown; Tutor and Study modes have no timer.
Do I need a subscription?
