Over pitch causes

  • a reduction in RPM.
  • an increase in RPM.
  • blades to cone up.

Explanation from PART66Online

Over-pitching coarsens the propeller blade angle, increasing the aerodynamic load (torque demand) on the engine for a given power. The greater resistance to rotation causes the engine and propeller RPM to fall, so over-pitch produces a reduction in RPM.

I agree answer "A. a reduction in RPM" is correct, but answer "C. blades to cone up" is also acceptable?
