On an aircraft with an all-moving tailplane, pitch up is caused by
- decreasing tailplane incidence.
- increasing tailplane incidence.
- up movement of the elevator trim tab.
Explanation from PART66Online
An all-moving tailplane controls pitch by changing the incidence of the whole surface. Decreasing its incidence, leading edge down, reduces the tail up-load or increases its download, so the tail moves down and the aircraft pitches nose up about the centre of gravity. Increasing the incidence does the opposite, and an up-going trim tab drives the surface trailing edge down, which also pitches the nose down.
