For a sine wave the peak equals RMS * sqrt 2 = 5 * 1.414 = 7.07 A. The value 6.37 A corresponds to 0.637*something (the average-related factor) and 10 A would only arise from doubling, so neither fits the RMS-to-peak conversion.

You must multiply RMS value by 1.414 to get peak value.
