When an aircraft has been reweighed under EU OPS, what should be done to the old Weight and Balance Report?
- Kept in the aircraft technical logbook.
- Destroyed after 3 months.
- Kept in the weight and balance records.
Explanation from PART66Online
Once an aircraft is reweighed and a new Weight and Balance Report is issued, the superseded report is retained for a short period and then destroyed after three months, since the current report governs operations. Keeping the old figures alongside the new ones risks them being used in error.
