Starting from zero amplitude, the cosine curve repeats itself between
- -180 and 180 degree.
- -90 and 270 degrees.
- 0 and 360 degree.
Explanation from PART66Online
Measuring from a point where the cosine value is zero (-90 degrees), one full period of the cosine wave spans 360 degrees and so completes again at +270 degrees. The intervals -180 degrees to 180 degrees and 0 degrees to 360 degrees begin at cosine peaks (+/-1), not at a zero crossing.

It repeats itself every 360 (2pi) degrees starting from -90 (-pi/2) degrees.
