Paralleling in AC constant frequency is affected by

  • contactors
  • Generator Control Unit (GCU)
  • But Tie Bar (BTB)

Explanation from PART66Online

Paralleling of constant-frequency AC channels is achieved through the bus-tie breakers (bus tie bar), which connect the individual generator busbars together once the generators are synchronised. Contactors and the generator control unit manage individual channels, but it is the bus-tie path that actually links the busbars in parallel.
