Man made noise
- mainly above 12mhz
- only in the LF band
- mainly below 12 mhz
Explanation
Man-made (industrial) noise from motors, switching and power lines is greatest at the lower radio frequencies and falls off as frequency rises, being concentrated mainly below about 12 MHz. This is why HF and lower bands suffer most from such interference while VHF and above are far less affected.

This question is not about human hearing. This question is about electromagnetic (radio) noise made by human.

as far as MOD-13 is concerned your collection of questions is not upto the standerd of CAA exams. there where very few straight forward questions this time, and many questions seems not related to subject.

dimky is right most part 145 have their own question banks but in my experience most questions which are on the examination are somewhat close to the questions here in this site.If you study by the book and not see questions online you are going to fail 100/%.So sasna no for the M13 questions are ok .
