What is the time between the F2 framing pulse and the SPI?
- 1.45 ms
- 2 ms
- 4.35 ms
Explanation from PART66Online
In an SSR reply the Special Position Identification (SPI) pulse follows the last framing pulse F2 by 4.35 microseconds, placing it clearly after the coded reply train. This fixed spacing lets ground equipment recognise the ident pulse; the shorter spacings correspond to positions inside the code train, not the SPI.
