Once the flow is already supersonic, a divergent duct continues to accelerate it, so the velocity increases as area increases, the opposite of subsonic behaviour. This is why the divergent section of a con-di nozzle keeps speeding up the supersonic gas.

why is it increasing?It isnt convergent,it is divergent.Can someone help?

Nevermind i found the answer,besically it is because the supersonic bahaves in an opposite way in relation to the subsonic.So the subsonic would decrease,so in our case supersonic increases.
