A self aligning bearing is a

  • angular bearing.
  • precision bearing.
  • radial bearing.

Explanation from PART66Online

A self-aligning bearing is a radial bearing whose outer race or rolling-element geometry (spherical) lets the inner race tilt relative to the outer, accommodating shaft misalignment while still carrying radial load. An angular-contact (precision) bearing is the opposite - it requires accurate alignment, so it is not self-aligning.

Should angular not be the correct answer?
