Explanation from PART66Online
Cosine is the adjacent side divided by the hypotenuse. The side next to angle A (other than the hypotenuse) is 4 and the hypotenuse is 5, so cos A = 4 / 5 = 0.8. 3 / 5 = 0.6 would be sin A, and a cosine can never be more than 1, which rules out 1.2.

Hi.
Cos A = Adjacent / Hypotenuse.
Cos A = 4 / 5
4 / 5 = 0.8
I think 4 / 8 is not very difficult to calculate without calculator. :)
