The loss of the vertical gyro signal to the flight director system would cause
- aircraft to underbank
- aircraft to overbank
- aircraft to remain in level flight
Explanation from PART66Online
The flight director uses the vertical gyro as its attitude reference for roll. If that signal is lost the system no longer senses bank angle correctly and commands an increasing roll, tending to drive the aircraft to overbank rather than holding wings level. Loss of the reference removes the limit that would otherwise arrest the bank.

But if you where in a roll and gyro stopped working, indication would be wrong and you would easily overbank?
