Which of the following statements describes centrifugal force?

Centrifugal force is the reactive (apparent) force equal in magnitude to the centripetal force but directed outward, opposite to the inward centripetal force that keeps the body on its circular path. The two are an action-reaction pair, so they are equal, not greater or smaller.
