A crimped electrical connection is suspected to be high resistance. How would you verify this without disconnecting the circuit?

  • Measure the millivolt drop across the connection with a millivolt meter.
  • Check the resistance across the connection using an ohmmeter.
  • Apply a 250 volt megger test across the crimped terminal.

you measure it parallel because it is voltage.
