A 0.5 in. diameter pipe is to be joined using standard nuts and fittings. What coupling would you use?

  • AN8-8852-1.
  • AN8-8852-2.
  • AN8-8852-8.

Explanation from PART66Online

In the AN coupling part number the final dash number gives the tube size in 1/16 inch, so for a 0.5 inch (8/16) pipe the correct dash size is -8, giving AN8-8852-8. The -1 and -2 suffixes would denote much smaller tube sizes.
