What is the formula for calculating the curved area of a cone?

  • 2/3 * pi * radius * slan height
  • pi * radius * slant height
  • pi * radius^2 * slant height

Explanation from PART66Online

The curved (lateral) surface area of a cone equals pi multiplied by the base radius and the slant height. Using radius squared would wrongly mix in an area term, and the 2/3 factor does not belong in the cone formula.

What calculation do you expect? Question is just about formula, you have to learn it and that is all.
