The output from a rotating armature AC generator would be taken from

  • either the rotor or the stator.
  • the rotor.
  • the stator.

Explanation from PART66Online

In a rotating-armature machine the output (armature) windings are on the rotor, so the generated voltage is taken from the rotor through slip rings or a commutator. This contrasts with the more common revolving-field design, where the output comes from the stator and only the field is on the rotor.
