What is the cube root of 8^2.

  • 2
  • 4
  • 8

Explanation from PART66Online

First evaluate 8 squared, which is 64. The cube root of 64 is the number that cubed gives 64, and since 4 * 4 * 4 = 64, the answer is 4. The result is not 8 because the squaring and cube-rooting do not simply cancel here.
