if you make 125:100=120:x you'll have 120x100=12000, than 12000/125= 96, this number is the percentage of acceptable bolts, therefore the 4% remaining is the not acceptable part

if you subtract 100 to 125 you have the not accettable bolts, they are 5. now, do a proportion 100:125=x:5 and x=100*5/125=4%
