Propeller torque is analogous to
- engine RPM
- shaft horsepower
- propeller RPM
Explanation from PART66Online
Power at the propeller shaft is the product of torque and rotational speed, so for a given rpm the torque is directly proportional to shaft horsepower. Torque measurement therefore serves as the analogue of the shaft horsepower being delivered to the propeller.
