When a propeller is removed, the securing parts are kept with

  • all separately in cases.
  • the propeller.
  • the engine.

Explanation from PART66Online

The retaining cones, nut and securing parts belong to the propeller-shaft installation, so when the propeller is removed they are kept with the engine rather than the propeller. This keeps the matched shaft hardware together with the shaft it fits, instead of travelling away with the removed propeller.

If a new propeller is fitted you need the parts to reattach it.
