Module 8. Basic aerodynamics

The atmospheric zone where the temperature remains fairly constant is called the

  • stratosphere.
  • ionosphere.
  • troposphere.

Explanation

In the lower stratosphere, above the tropopause, the temperature stops falling and stays nearly constant at about minus 56.5 degrees C. The troposphere instead shows a steady temperature decrease with height, while the ionosphere is a much higher charged layer not defined by constant temperature.

because the area is called tropopause and it is the boundary between troposphare and stratosphere.Basically you are a little bit inside stratoshpere and thats why the answer it is as it is.
