The area of a circle whose circumference is given as 12cm is approximately
- 3.8 cm^2.
- 11.5 cm^2.
- 38 cm^2.
Explanation from PART66Online
From circumference C = 2(pi)r, the radius is 12/(2pi) = 1.91 cm. The area is (pi)r^2 = pi x 1.91^2, which is approximately 11.5 cm2.

after this you get the radius 3.8/2=1.91. Finally you use the formula of the area r^2*3.14 so 1.91^2*3.14 is aproximatelly 11.3 cm^2.
