What is the value of X in the diagram shown?

The angles at the centre of a circle add up to 360 degrees, so X + 3X + 4X + 80 = 360. That gives 8X = 280, so X = 35 degrees. Check: 35 + 105 + 140 + 80 = 360.

360 degrees in a circle. you know that one of the answers is correct so 4 x 35 = 140, 3 x 35 =105, x = 35 and you have been given 80 degrees already. add them all together you have 360.
