(6 - 2) - (6 - 9) / (-3 + (-3))
- 3 1/2.
- 4.
- 4 1/2.
Explanation
Following order of operations, work the brackets first: (6-2)=4 and (6-9)=-3, with the denominator (-3+(-3))=-6. Division comes before subtraction, so (-3)/(-6)=0.5, giving 4-0.5=3.5, or 3 1/2.

(6-2) - (6-9) = 7 / (-3 +(-3)) is the bit that confuses me how do you get the half, haha confusing me here...

You can't subtract (6-9) from (6-2) because first you have to do a division.

Maybe we can change your nickname because as you see it is too long to be correctly displayed?

There are a set of brackets missing in this equation that give you confusion of where to start. The equation should be written as:
(6 - 2) - ((6 - 9) / (-3 + (-3)))
Then the working out would be as follows:
(6-2) - (-3)/(-6)
(6-2) - 0.5
4 - 0.5
3.5
Hope that helps...
