Hydraulic pipes are made from
- 1100 or 2020 H14.
- annealed steel.
- 5056 or 7075.

Rigid hydraulic lines for higher-pressure service are commonly made from annealed corrosion-resistant steel, which combines strength to contain the pressure with enough ductility to be bent and flared. The aluminium alloys listed are used only for lower-pressure lines and lack the strength for the main hydraulic system.

why do we use annealed steel ...as far as i know annealed steel are soft...
