In which medium does sound travel the fastest?

Steel.
Glass.

Sound travels fastest in solids because their stiff, closely-bound structure transmits vibrations most efficiently. Of the options, steel is the stiffest and densest solid and carries sound faster (around 5,000 m/s) than glass or water, so sound travels fastest in steel.
