A redundant structure is
- on-condition structure.
- a safe-life structure.
- a failsafe structure.
Explanation
A redundant structure is one with surplus load paths, so it is by definition a fail-safe structure; loss of a single member does not cause collapse because the remaining paths take up the load. Safe-life and on-condition describe maintenance/life philosophies, not the multiple-load-path arrangement.

why not safe life?
