A pneumatic indicator takes its indications from

  • compressor inlet.
  • reservoir.
  • compressor outlet.

Explanation from PART66Online

A pneumatic (air/gas pressure) indicator reads the stored pressure in its system reservoir/accumulator, which holds the charged gas supply being monitored. Compressor inlet or outlet tappings would read a varying engine pressure, not the system's stored pneumatic supply.
