When a detector element or its wiring is routed through a zone it does not monitor, that section must be shielded from local heat sources so the system does not give a false fire warning from heat in the wrong zone. Such routing is permitted provided this protection is fitted, so an outright ban is not correct.

Aren't the first and second sentence saying the same thing? Can some one find a reference pls?
