Module 2. Physics

Charles' Law states that

  • volume varies inversely with temperature.
  • volume varies directly with temperature.
  • volume equals pressure * temperature.

Explanation

Charles' Law states that, at constant pressure, the volume of a fixed mass of gas is directly proportional to its absolute temperature, so heating expands it. The inverse-relationship option describes pressure-volume behaviour (Boyle's Law), not the volume-temperature link.

Jordi asking:

I think it is wrong, because the formula for charles is V1/T1=V2/T2 which means that volume with temperature are inversely proportional.
