If a block of ice melts in a glass of water, the level of water in the glass will
- drop noticeably.
- rise noticeably.
- remain the same.
Explanation
A floating ice block displaces a weight of water equal to its own weight, and when it melts it produces exactly that mass of water, filling the same volume it had displaced. So the water level remains the same, in line with Archimedes' principle.

wouldn't be level of water rise?
