Liquids are very nearly incompressible, so increasing the pressure on a liquid at constant temperature produces almost no measurable change in its volume. This is why hydraulic systems can transmit force reliably through a liquid column.

doesn't the quation is PV divided by T, so the pressure and volume will be inversely proportional with each other?

it will remain constant because the question says 'liquid' and not gas. Sinces liquid is incompressable.
