Module 2. Physics

Convert 15 degrees C to degrees F

  • 37 degrees F.
  • 59 degrees F.
  • 62 degrees F.

Explanation

Using F = (C x 9/5) + 32, 15 degrees C gives (15 x 9/5) + 32 = 27 + 32 = 59 degrees F. This is also the ISA sea-level standard temperature. The other options drop the offset or misapply the conversion factor.

Jordi asking:

it doesnt make sense. The formula is F=5/9*15+32 and the asnwer isnt close to 59 what is happening?
