Ten Questions, One Chapter

You have just finished reading one paragraph of the syllabus — say 3.10, Magnetism. You want to know whether it went in. Until now your only option was a full module quiz, which draws from the whole of Module 3 and gives you back a score that says almost nothing about the thing you actually just studied.

Chapter Practice is ten questions from that one chapter. Nothing else. You read a chapter, you drill it, you find out.

Where to start one

• From the note you are reading. Every study note now carries a practice chip in its header and a card at the end. The card names the chapter and the number of questions behind it, and the chip is there because a note can run to twenty-odd pages and a button only at the bottom is a button most people never see.
• From the module you are working on. Open any module on the main page and the quiz chooser now has a By chapter row. It lists that module's chapters with a live question count against each, so you can see at a glance which parts of the syllabus are deep and which are thin.

It does not touch your statistics, and that is the point

A chapter drill records no quiz result. It cannot move a module average, it cannot affect the Exam Ready badge, and it will not appear in your quiz history. Ten questions on one narrow topic is not a fair test of a module, so we do not let it pretend to be one.

What that buys you is permission to fail. You can drill a chapter you know you are weak on, get four out of ten, and lose nothing. That is a much better way to find a gap than avoiding the topic to protect an average.

Your mistakes are still remembered. Anything you get wrong here goes into Weak Areas exactly as it would from a normal quiz, and anything you get right there comes back out. So the drills quietly improve the quality of your Weak Areas list even though they leave your scores alone.

What is behind it

• 307 chapters, covering all eighteen modules — every chapter of the Part-66 syllabus that has enough live questions to fill a drill.
• 19,680 questions in total behind them, from 11 on the smallest chapter to 528 on the largest.
• A fresh draw every run. The ten are picked at random each time, so on all but the smallest chapters Try 10 more keeps giving you questions you have not seen.

Where the chapter has a study note — which is all seventeen of the modules that have notes written — the drill links straight back to it, both while you are answering and on the results page. Read it, prove it, and go back to the bit you got wrong.

It speaks your language, and it listens

The thirteen-language translation applies here like anywhere else, and the picker sits beside the progress bar, so you can switch in the middle of a drill without losing your place.

Every question also carries the same feedback box as the rest of the site. If a chapter drill turns up a question that is wrong, badly worded, or that you simply want explained, say so on the spot — one box, and the reason you pick decides whether it reaches us as an error report or starts a thread in the Q&A.

What you need

Chapter Practice is included in your subscription at no extra cost, and — worth saying plainly — you do not need Study Notes access to use it. If you subscribe for the question bank alone, every one of the 307 chapters is open to you. Questions and notes stay separate purchases; this is a question feature.
