Module 3. Electrical fundamentals

The SI unit of work is the

  • Watt.
  • Newton Meter.
  • Joule.

Explanation

The SI unit of work is the joule, defined as one newton acting through one metre. Although a newton-metre is dimensionally equivalent, the joule is the named SI unit for work and energy, whereas the watt is the unit of power (joules per second).

roja90 asking:

Watt is not unit of work (it is unit of power), so it can't be used instead of Joule.
