When reheat is used, E.P.R
- is reduced.
- remains constant.
- is increased.
Explanation
Reheat (afterburning) adds heat downstream of the turbine and does not change the pressures across the compressor and turbine, so Engine Pressure Ratio stays essentially constant when reheat is selected. The extra thrust comes from accelerating the exhaust, not from a changed EPR.
