Module 15. Gas turbine engine

A fuel or oil fire is defined as a

  • class B fire.
  • class C fire.
  • class A fire.

Explanation

Fuel, oil and other flammable-liquid fires are classified as Class B. Class A covers ordinary solid combustibles such as wood or paper, and Class C covers energised electrical equipment, so neither fits a fuel or oil fire.

titanas20 asking:

So What depend to class A fire (and "C")?

B stands for Liquids/Liquifiable solids, thus it makes sense to me.
