In an integrated circuit, the components are mounted
- by metal screws.
- by metal oxide film.
- by means of wires connecting them.
Explanation
Within an integrated circuit the individual components are interconnected on the chip and brought out to the package pins by fine conducting (bonding) wires, rather than being held by mechanical fasteners. They are not mounted by metal screws, and a metal-oxide film is an insulating layer rather than a means of mounting components.
funcaul asking:
Please kindly explain. Also can I get a link or material where I can read up on all the modules.thanks.

The accepted aircraft definition for an integrated circuit is that it consists of elements inseparably associated and formed on or within a single substrate (mounting surface). In other words, the circuit components and all interconnections are formed as a unit. You will be concerned with three types of integrated circuits: monolithic, film, and hybrid.
