Material A and material B are both removed from the same oven at the same time, after being in the same amount of time. Material A is a higher temperature than material B. This is because
- material B has a higher specific heat capacity.
- material A had a higher initial oven temperature.
- material A has a higher specific heat capacity.

why ?

Different materials have different heat capacity, so we need more energy to heat material with lower specific heat capacity.
Just read in wikipedia about this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_capacity

Surely the correct answer is B has a higher specific heat capacity.
SHC is the heat energy required to raise 1 kg of the substance by 1K (or 1 degree C). If the same heat energy is supplied to the same mass of 2 different substances, then the one with the higher temp (A in this case), must have the LOWER heat capacity. :)

This question is still uncorrected. Plus the question does not say what mass of A and B are involved.
