Module 2. Physics

If a hydrogen atom has 2 neutrons and 1 proton what kind of water would you get?

  • Fresh water.
  • Heavy water.
  • Light water.

Explanation

A hydrogen atom with extra neutrons in its nucleus is a heavier isotope, and water made from such heavy hydrogen is called heavy water because of its greater mass. Ordinary (light) water uses common hydrogen with a single proton and no neutrons.

RK asking:

can you tell me why? please
