For licensed Part-145 engineers

EASA Part-145 Continuation Training, online

The mandatory recurrent training every working aircraft maintenance engineer must keep current — Human Factors (incl. SMS), Fuel Tank Safety (CDCCL), EWIS and, newly required, Information Security (Part-IS). Taught properly, assessed by exam, and certificated with a verifiable record. Every course is mapped clause-by-clause to the AMC so your Part-145/CAMO organisation can accept it.

What every course gives you

Built to satisfy the AMC training criteria — and to actually teach

A recognised, verifiable certificate

Pass the exam and download a branded certificate with your name, the AMC citations, exam score, issue and expiry dates and a unique ID that anyone can verify online — an acceptable training record for your AMO.

Mapped to the AMC, section by section

Every course carries a syllabus-coverage table linking each lesson to its AMC clause (145.A.30(e), Appendix IV for Fuel Tank Safety, AMC 20-22 for EWIS, IS.I.OR.240 for Information Security) — the traceability your quality system looks for.

Real lessons, not tick-boxes

Written by engineers for engineers: the why behind each rule, worked “in the hangar” scenarios, comparison tables and key-takeaway callouts — a refresher actually worth your time.

Knowledge checks + a 75% exam

Each section gates on a short knowledge check, then a multiple-choice final exam with a 75% pass mark and unlimited retakes — a continuous evaluation of understanding, as the AMC expects.

Two-year validity, renewal made easy

Certificates are valid for two years. Your full certificate history is kept in My Training, and an expiring or expired course is flagged with a one-click route to renew.

Instructor support at a distance

Stuck on a point? An “Ask the instructor” channel is available throughout every course, so access to an instructor is provably there — another AMC training criterion satisfied.

Continuation training — frequently asked questions

Is Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety and EWIS training mandatory?
Yes. Under EASA Part-145 (point 145.A.30(e) and 145.A.35(d)), certifying and support staff must hold current safety training in Human Factors and safety management, and — where their role requires it — Fuel Tank Safety (CDCCL) and EWIS. Recurrent (continuation) training is refreshed on a cycle not exceeding two years.
Is EASA Part-IS (Information Security) training mandatory?
Yes, for information security. Under Part-IS — Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/203, Part-IS.I.OR, applicable from 22 February 2026 — Part-145, CAMO and CAO organisations must run an Information Security Management System and ensure their people have the competence to work securely (point IS.I.OR.240(g)). One important difference from Human Factors: Part-IS sets no fixed legal retraining interval — the organisation decides how often awareness training recurs based on its own risk (guidance GM1 IS.I.OR.240(g)), with roughly two years a common industry norm plus event-driven refreshers. Our certificate carries a two-year validity to fit that norm. Part-IS is sold as a single Initial or Continuation course (EUR 39.99); it is not part of the two bundles.
Which of these courses apply to me?
It depends on your role. Human Factors (incl. SMS) applies to all Part-145 certifying and support staff. Fuel Tank Safety here is Phase 2 (Detailed) - for B1/B2/B2L/B3/C certifying and support staff and CAMO engineers who work on fuel tanks, fuel systems or their wiring (the Phase 1 awareness course for management and stores staff is separate). EWIS here is Target Groups 1-2 - staff who carry out EWIS maintenance (Group 1) or maintenance inspections on EWIS (Group 2).
Do I need a Part-147 approved provider for this training?
No. Part-147 approval covers only Part-66 basic and type training. Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety and EWIS continuation training may be delivered by an independent provider — the AMC explicitly allows it. Final acceptance rests with your employing Part-145/CAMO organisation and its competent authority.
Will my employer or AMO accept the certificate?
Each course is mapped clause-by-clause to the relevant AMC (a visible syllabus-coverage table), follows the AMC training criteria, and issues a verifiable certificate carrying a unique ID, your exam score and validity dates — exactly what an AMO quality system needs to validate and accept the training.
How long is the certificate valid?
Two years. Continuation training is refreshed on a cycle not exceeding 24 months; you simply retake the course before your certificate expires. Your certificate history is kept and a renewal is flagged when it is due.
What is the exam format and pass mark?
Each course is a set of taught lessons with knowledge checks, followed by a multiple-choice final exam. The pass mark is 75%, with unlimited retakes, and your certificate can be downloaded the moment you pass.
What is the difference between the Initial and Continuation courses?
The Initial course is the full first-time syllabus taught in depth. The Continuation course is the shorter two-year refresher for staff already trained — it recaps the essentials and focuses on current emphasis and lessons learned.
How much does it cost?
Each single course is EUR 39.99. Either bundle — the Get Compliant initial pack or the 2-Year Refresh continuation pack (all three subjects) — is EUR 99.99. Payment is by card and certificates are valid for two years.

Independent training, mapped to the AMC

There is no approval gate for HF / FTS / EWIS / Part-IS continuation training — the AMC permits independent providers. Every course is mapped clause-by-clause — AMC to 145.A.30(e), Appendix IV (Fuel Tank Safety), AMC 20-22 (EWIS) and IS.I.OR.240(g) / GM1 IS.I.OR.240(g) (Information Security, Part-IS) — via a visible syllabus-coverage table, the traceability your AMO quality system looks for. This training is provided as independent continuation training; final acceptance toward your training obligations rests with your employing Part-145/CAMO organisation and its competent authority. Part66Online is not a Part-147 approved organisation.
