Module 3. Electrical fundamentals
The circuit shown is at resonance. If the value of the inductance is trebled, the impedance will

•  stay the same.
•  treble.
•  reduce by one-third.

roja90 asking:
•  parallel circuit dynamic impedance Z=L/CR. so inductance trebled impedance also treble.
is it correct ?

Module 17. Propeller
Propeller De-icing can be checked by
•  checking the the de-icing ammeter.
•  checking the torque meter for abnormal readings.
•  visually checking for ice on the blades.

obrien99 asking:
•  Could somebody explain this one please. I thought de-icing would be checked via the ammeter and looking for the current drop between cycles.

Module 17. Propeller
Synchronising is carried out to
•  match engine rpm.
•  match propeller tip speed.
•  match blade phase angle difference.

obrien99 asking:
•  I was a bit unsure with this question, The props are synchronised by matching the engine RPM? but ultimatley this is to match the prop RPM. would you guys agree with this answer?

Module 17. Propeller
Electrical power supplies on large aircraft, for electrical deicing are
•  Both AC or DC.
•  DC.
•  AC.

obrien99 asking:
•  Is this correct? I thought some turbo props used AC wild for electrical de icing. i'm sure the key to this question is "large aircraft" i assume this would be aircraft over 7500kg.
