1400 divided by 1 hour and 45 minutes (105 minutes) and multiplied by 60 minutes = 800 knots.
Is that really complicated? :)

1400/1hr 45min
1hr 45 min = 1 3/4 or 1.75
therefore 1400/1.75 = 800

Formula = (d=rt) distance=rate×time,
We want to solve for r, so a little algebra and viola! (d/t=r), then 1400nm/1hr+45min= r[kts].
1hr=60/60 or 1,and 45/60=.75 1+.75=1.75 or [t], ...you now have received your the variables needed to solve for r. d/t=r
In order to be a proficient Pilot, Engineer flight,or mechanic you should take a basic physics course
And start to memorize the basic formulas...especially ohms law and mohs law, well at least know ohms law!

I'm sorry again I meant [mhos] conductance law!opposite of resistance, ohms law!
