Module 2. Physics
Which contains the least amount of heat energy?
•  Both 1 kg of ice at 0 degrees C and 1 kg of water at 0 degrees C have the same amount of heat energy.
•  1 kg of water at 0 degrees C.
•  1 kg of ice at 0 degrees C.

pickus asking:
•  Enthalpy (i.e. heat) of water = Enthalpy of ice + latent heat.

I think the answer should be that ice contain least amount of heat energy. Because ice will need to get additional heat energy to change the state/phase of the substance (ice to water).

•Liquid matter is characterized by molecules that have more energy and increased movement. This is what the book says.
